About 70 Bulgarian Roma were evacuated over a fire Saturday night in Bordeaux, France.

The Roma have been living in a former bus station in Bordeaux for several months, the France 3 TV reported.

The Doctors of the World NGO has started to take care of the Roma who no longer have a place to stay.

The France 3 TV reported there were about 1 000 Roma living in dire conditions in Bordeaux but did not specify what number of them are from Bulgaria.
