Two bombs exploded in restaurants in the Spanish city of Palma de Mallorca within one hour Sunday afternoon.

Both bombs were not powerful and incurred minor damages to the restaurants where they were set. The second bomb was controlled.

Early on Sunday a telephone call at a taxi company in San Sebastian in the Basque country in Spain warned about three bomb explosions in Palma de Mallorca. The call came from the Basque separatist organization ETA.

On July 30, a ETA bomb blast killed two Spanish policemen in Palma de Mallorca.
