The Brazilian military has said it has ended the search for bodies from Air France plane that disappeared over the Atlantic on June 1.

The search has recovered 51 bodies out of a total of 228 passengers, and a Brazilian Air Force spokesman has said the finding of more bodies was "impossible", as quoted by the BBC. The Brazilian search effort has not spotted any bodies in nine days.

At the same time, French efforts to recover the plane's black boxes are going to continue; the black boxes of the plane are going to emit signals till at least July 2.

The cause of the accident has not yet been established. The Airbus 330 was flying from Rio de Janeiro to Paris when it crashed into the sea.
