Bulgarian National Bank Projects Stronger Domestic Growth Through 2027
The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) has updated its GDP growth forecast for Bulgaria for the 2025–2027 period, showing a more optimistic outlook than its June 2025 projections.

The data belongs to Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities, and was presented during a national discussion forum for flexible security organized by the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (KNSB).
According to the Union's analysis the average net salary in Bulgaria's industry and service sector is 15 times lower than the average for the European Union Member States, while the salaries' share of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is one of the lowest in Europe - 36%.
The Unions propose encouraging small and medium enterprises, self-employment, common policy during salary negotiations, improving the work force's qualifications, high-end technologies and investments' increase.
