The coach of Bulgaria's national football team stated he has high hopes the players will perform up to their ability during the Saturday game with Eire.

The two teams will play in Dublin at 8 pm in a crucial game from the World Football Cup qualifying rounds.

"I hope my people with show a game suitable for what they are capable of. I am fully aware Bulgaria wants victory and we will do all we can to live up to the expectations. I basically know now, who is going to play Saturday evening." Stoilov said, cited by gong.bg.

"We were successful in getting familiar with our adversary. They have great game organization. Giovanni Trapattoni's influence is obvious," Stoilov said, adding that the Bulgarian team had certain problems with injuries, but they have done their best to deal with them.

In the mean time, the President of the Bulgarian Football Union, Borislav Mihailov, stated that he had never been so calm and confident before an important game. Mihailov spoke at Sofia's airport, minutes before the Bulgarian team boarded they flight to Dublin.

"I believe our boys will show top sportsmanship against the Republic of Ireland. We have an outstanding team, I fully trust the coaches as well. It is very important for us to win this match in order to be able to fight for the second ranking in the group. We could have even bigger hopes. From now on, every game is like a final," Mihailov said.
