The revenue of Bulgarian mobile communications company GLOBUL for 2008 increased by 11,6% year-on-year, and reached BGN 900 M.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the year stood at BGN 382,5 M, compared to BGN 316 M for 2007, and the company's operating profit increased by 36% reaching over BGN 195 M, the company's press office reported.
As of December 31, 2008, GLOBUL had a total of 4 096 996 customers, up by 5,8% on the year. Post-paid subscribers increased by 26% to 2 102 564, representing 51,3% of the company's total customer base and in line with GLOBUL focus on post-paid clients.
GLOBUL estimates its market share as 38,1% at the end of 2008.
