A policemen from the anti narcotics task force has been arrested in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, after being discovered buying drugs from a local dealer.
The as yet unnamed policeman was arrested on Monday during an Interior Ministry operation "Inside Security".
The policemen had just collected drugs from his dealer in the Strelbishte quarter of Sofia when he was apprehended. At the time of his arrest he was meant to be on duty, BGNES reported Wednesday.
When the arrest was made the man had 4-5 doses of heroin on him and the Interior ministry later announced that the policeman had been part of the Bulgarian capital's drugs task force.
