Sofia Mayor Faces Backlash Over 215-Meter Skyscraper as Legal Options Run Out

The American coffee chain Starbucks is all set to open its third coffee shop in the Bulgarian Black Sea coastal city of Burgas.
The newest addition comes on the heels of the launching of the first two Starbucks shops in Bulgaria's capital Sofia in late 2008. The official Burgas opening will be on March 26.
"We are proud to be part of the Bulgarian market. Starbucks has the honor to open its first coffee shop at Black Sea's coast", Marinopoulos Coffee Company's CEO, Yannis Kalfakakos, said. The Greek company is the official licensee of Starbucks, and manages the Starbucks brand in Bulgaria. It also manages Starbucks shops in Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Austria, and Romania.
