Sofia Doubles Parking Fees and Expands Zones Starting January 2026

After two Starbucks shops were opened in Bulgaria's capital Sofia in late 2008, the new one will be in the Black Sea coast city of Burgas.
The American coffee chain Starbucks is all set to open its third coffee shop in the Bulgarian Black Sea coastal city of Burgas.
The newest addition comes on the heels of the launching of the first two Starbucks shops in Bulgaria's capital Sofia in late 2008. The official Burgas opening will be on March 26.
"We are proud to be part of the Bulgarian market. Starbucks has the honor to open its first coffee shop at Black Sea's coast", Marinopoulos Coffee Company's CEO, Yannis Kalfakakos, said. The Greek company is the official licensee of Starbucks, and manages the Starbucks brand in Bulgaria. It also manages Starbucks shops in Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Austria, and Romania.
