A 29-year-old man killed his own two children and set his family's house on fire after a family row in the village of Osikovo in Southwest Bulgaria.

The incident took place around 9:30 pm Wednesday night. Mancho Panyukov picked his two boys aged five and eight from an Internet cafГ©, and murdered them with a knife in the street in front of shocked passers-by.

He then went to the house where he lived with his family, poured gasoline all over it, and set it on fire. Five persons were severely injured in the fire, the man's wife being in the worst condition. They have been transported to the Pirogov hospital in Sofia.

The murderer has escaped and is wanted by the police. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Relatives and friends of his have said he had been really desperate with his life recently, and that he had been having constant rows with his wife's parents in whose house the family lived, the Darik Radio reported.

"... weak and dumb people like this one break down more easily."

Perhaps is just as well... if they are capable of doing something like that, do we really want their offsprings mingling with ours...
From pure Darwinian pov, perhaps it's positive - who knows what his kids will end up like. May be they will do something worse eventually or it may be that they will just hang on on foreign forums to bare their asses, like Stealthy, as a way of exercising the demons within...

I still think that it's much more mental, than plain dumb, but one thing is sure that it has to do with defective wiring of some sort.

As far as moving to Sofia - you should be happy that not everyone is doing it.. just don't mix with married women... although remember that one:

Nekakav spal s omujena jena, i muja i si idva.

Kakto go kazva tova pada v edin kamion sas slama.
Otrusva se i si si kazal: Eba ti za 3 secundi padane, shto gluposti izgovorih....

weak and dumb people like this one break down more easily. I meet here women who have a family somewhere in BG, work in Sofia and commute during the weekend - every weekend if they dont have a lover or less if they have one or work two jobs at a time.
I was amazed why they dont try to bring their family in Sofia too - they say their husbands dont want to move for all kinds of reasons - old parents etc. Strange folk.

A guy just did the same thing here in LA - lost his job and wiped out his family.
Only he had the courtesy to kill himself as well....

Creepy there is no logic in mental illnesses...

If he lived in the house of the parents of his wife the only thing that is difficult to comprehend is why he didnt kill the wife's parents instead of his children.

This is a heartbreaking story. It is particularly hard to comprehend a crime when children become victims of domestic violence.

The guy must have shown signs of mental instability.
