Commenting article: Trump's Victory Shakes Kiev

Donald Trump’s victory may leave Ukraine alone and frightened.

The fear is that the newly-elected US President will prefer warm relations with Moscow to the annoyance of supporting Ukraine – a country which he described during his campaign as a “mess”.

“The biggest loser tonight is Ukraine,” wrote Michael McFaul, former ambassador of the USA to Russia, after the election outcome had become clear.

If the west Ukrainians want independence why they attacked the east Ukrainians like an invaders in a foreign country. And if Russia is going to be their neighbor why they allied with the enemies of Russia giving the Russians reason to fight them? And if EU is against the national states and no borders!!! why EU supported extreme nationalists in Ukraine. IF the West Ukrainians want Independence why they do not recognize that they will have to live with Russians nearby... Ukraine have only one chance.. to be a federal state.. why they sustain bloodshed fighting the federalism, which they themselves made inevitable with bloodshed???
