Commenting article: Austria to Receive 1000 Extra Refugees

Austria will receive an extra 1000 Syrian refugees in addition to the quota of 500 announced in August 2013, according to Interior Minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner.

In a Sunday interview for Austrian newspaper Kurier, she explained that the country would receive an additional 1000 refugees apart from the initially announced quota of 500, adding that priority treatment would be granted to women, children and persecuted Christians.  She said that the number of asylum applicants had not been taken into account in the measure.

Citing data of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), she noted that the situation in and around Syria was becoming increasingly dramatic, with an estimated 4 million expected to have fled violence in Syria by end-2014, ? of them women and children.

Just stop accepting these disgusting muslims who clearly won't adapt to european living ways and culture. Just let them rot in Syria. These people will never understand how to live here anyway.

The Russians ruled Bulgaria for 50 years. Did the Russians adapt to living in Bulgaria or Eastern Europe for that matter? No; they were always disliked (you tell me to what degree this "dislike" was) and feared (how much were they feared?).

I watched anoteher dispatch from Vice News today. It was another episode of "Russians Behaving Badly". What a disgrace to that proud and storied people. If they could only turn that untameness toward good. The world could use another untame people that could aim at creating for the benefit of the whole. Imagine if the world could tap into the creative power of that Russian untameness. It's their age-old problem of showing they are as "sophisticated" as the Europeans. And the experiment with Communism may have been part of this cultural desire to appear ahead of others in terms of their society's progress toward European intellectual ideals of the late 19th century. Now their trying to role it back to World War 2 and a fight against "fascism". Gimme a break.

That's rather unfair: the White Russians were largely an educated and cultured bunch; unfortunately, the scum which floated to the top of the cess-pit that Soviet Russia became, and still is thanks to Vlad and his pathetic brown-nosed apologists, have been responsible for the country and its people becoming a laughing-stock all over the world.

A great pity.....the fall of Communism should have been a time to clean the toilet properly - that was the one thing that Stalin DID get right and even Bulgaria is still suffering because the Commies and their brats weren't imprisoned or eliminated.
