Commenting article: Mafia Pushes to Destabilize Bulgaria amid Political Crisis - Analyst

Bulgarian mafia and oligarchy structures are sabotaging attempts to form a caretaker cabinet, according to political analyst Ognyan Minchev.

"The brutality with which those shady structures obstructing cabinet formation are an indicator of their great interests to prolong and manipulate instability," said Minchev in an interview for the Trud daily Monday.

Bulgaria's cabinet led by acting PM Boyko Borisov resigned February 20 amid massive popular protests and Tuesday President Rosen Pleneliev is to unveil the composition of the new caretaker government which is to lead the country to early elections expected on May 12.

I hope this is not the beginning of the end of Bulgaria........

Chushki - 11 Mar 2013 // 19:06:37

Tania, unfortunately the disinformation campaigns and agent provocateurs appear to be succeeding and before long the Commies (& their Turkish allies) will be safely ensconced back in power, looting the country at the beck and call of their masters.

Oh no, that is so depressing, surely not, please no. This is not what I want to hear or to happen.

That fool, Borisov, why did he step down so soon? There wasn't long to go before the next elections. I don't understand why he did that.

The article fails to describe a single destabilizing action by the Mafia, if any were identified by Minchev.

Borisov stepped down because he wanted to prove to all Bulgarians not with words (which no one listens) but with actions, that being in power is not his goal. He wanted to at least give the start of breaking the COMMUNIST MAFIA. He could easily have acted tuff on the demonstrators and could have undertaken law changes in his favor (like the Hungarian government undertook today) and could have controlled the situation at cost of hatred. But if one has to stand against this iron dinosaur - THE COMMUNIST MAFIA, than he has to have the support of the people to back him up. The fight will take not 3, but more like 30 years. And Borisov will not end it, he can not, suffice to just start it and than leave it to the governments to follow after his mandates expire. However if the start is weak and shaken by the propaganda communist machinery, than ultimately it won't succeed in the long run. The people also have a moral to take from this situation. If they decide to believe in him and back him up, they have to be prepared for more hard times and only the desire to free themselves form the MAFIA would give them strength. Sad but true. If it could be of any consolation hard times are to come for everybody in this world, what it was can not continue for everything has its end and depletion.
On the other hand, if people are so stupid to fall victim of the cheap insinuations spread by the COMMUNISTS, than those same people deserve to continue the life and slavery of the last 60 years, nothing new given that the turkish despotism was tolerated for 500 years. Once you learn to be a slave, it will always be easier to continue being such.

Lol you seem to be living under a rock, right? Because it is highly probable you haven't stepped a foot in any of the bigger cities, or even in the smaller once for that matter.

"Borisov stepped down because he wanted to prove to all Bulgarians not with words (which no one listens) but with actions, that being in power is not his goal."

He stepped down so he can get in power again ...

And secundo, this bullshit about communists.
There are no communist politicians anymore. Especially the socialists are capitalists of the highest degree.

People who start speaking to me about communists in Bulgaria in general are people who don't even have the slightest idea about what is democracy, communism, capitalism, eu or anything else that has to do with the current political and economic system.

But it is popular to shout things like communist, mafia etc. I never liked being popular or people who want to be popular. I know why :)

Ivanko, your ass is so mafia red that it shines like a star and can be seen from an airplane.

Ivanko - 12 Mar 2013 // 17:28:33

Sveto, your writings are so stupid that even a donkey walks further if he sees your writings.

Sveto - 12 Mar 2013 // 20:17:55

Walk away donkey, walk away, only boring stuff here for people with brains. Animals are ill-advised to break their heads with human nonsense.
