Commenting article: Italian Nuclear Physicist Fulvio Frisone on Cold Fusion

Italian uclear physicist Fulvio Frisone is disabled, suffering from spastic dystonic tetraparesis that forced him to a wheelchair.

He visited Sofia in April 2010, met Bulgarian physicists at the Institute of Nuclear Research of the Academy of Sciences and Bulgarian students.

The Dawning of the Nickel Age

When my wife and I visited Alaska, the tour guide described how the early explorers died from a vitamin deficiency, when they could have saved themselves by simply eating a local plant that proliferated in the area. If only the explorers had known.

Today, we have a similar situation. (Partial formula) Ni + H (heated under pressure) = Cu + lots of heat!! Unbelievable, but here we have been oxidizing carbon fuel for energy and polluting our air with carbon dioxide big time when all along nickel could be used in a low energy nuclear reaction.

This paper is devoted to convincing a skeptical reader that this remarkable method of getting tremendous amounts of heat from nickel is legitimate. Andrea Rossi has a patent from the Greek government, and is building a Florida factory that is expecting to build 300,000 units next year which will deliver electricity at less than 1 cent per kilowatt hour (at least 5 times less than the next least expense method, dirty coal).

Andrea Rossi has given three demonstrations so far including with professors from Bologna University and the Swedish skeptics society and the Chairman of the Swedish Physics Union. This is an directory of Rossi efforts:

The US Naval Research lab has been working on this with positive results for over 10 years and has confirmed it existence.

Rossi has announced a 1MW Cold Fusion facility to be opened in Greece this Oct. Still top line periodicals have yet to publish even one article. This will change the economics of the world lifting many people out of poverty and it will also threaten many vested interests.

A Chief NASA scientist, Dennis Bushnell has came out in support of Andrea Rossi's E-Cat technology ...

Dennis Bushnell is a Chief scientist at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. He is also an inventor, author, and has been a consultant to countless government and military agencies. A few of these include the DOD, Air Force, DARPA, and the NRC. Recently, he was interviewed during an EV World podcast.

To summarize, through history we’ve labeled different periods in history according to the metal that shapes it. Iron Age, Bronze Age, Steel Age, and now the Nickel Age is dawning. This will provide us the clean and cheap power to routinely escape the Earth’s gravity well, and furthermore, to save the Earth’s environment by allowing us to curb our carbon emissions.

I sat down and calculated the number of calories of different materials:

Pound of oil 2.4 X 10 to the 7
Pound of coal 1.6 x 10 to the 7
Pound of Uranium 235 3.7 x 10 to the 13
Pound of nickel 7.8 x 10 to the 11

This is considering a gram of nickel generates 2000 kilowatt-hours the E-Cat prototype.

The E-Cat is especially designed for safety, and more kilowatt hours can be gained using a more aggressive design.

This means less than one ton of nickel (approximate 1500 pounds) equals the energy of a super tanker full of oil.

Hi Brad, I am following the Ni-H fusion mailing list for some time now and recently there were few posts about how the ECat is a scam since more electricity it receives than it produces heat at the end.

Low-energy nuclear reactors certainly are the future if you ask me. But there are other untapped (cleaner) sources too.

Hi Brad,

is there anywhere in the world that this Ni-H cold fusion unit has worked successfully and economically? I was just curious to know.
