Commenting article: Bulgaria's Right Demands Ban on Rallies near Religious Temples

Bulgaria's rightist opposition Blue Coalition will initiate legislative changes banning the demonstrations near religious temples because of Friday's incident between nationalists and Muslims in Sofia.

The incident on Friday, in which the nationalist Ataka party assaulted praying Muslims in the Banya Bashi mosque, shocked Bulgaria. The Ataka party staged a protest against the loudspeakers of the mosque during the Friday prayer.

Proshko Proshkov from the Democrats for Strong Bulgaria party, one of the two major members of the Blue Coalition, reminded that the law for demonstrations currently restricts rallies near the Parliament, the Presidency, the Council of Ministers, and military bases. The rightists believe it should ban demonstrations near religious temples during the time they hold services.

Ban on free speech you mean! But no ban against islamic loudspeakers blasting their bile across Sofia, that is just peachy!

Since we are on a banning mood I hope we can ban the football-hooligans..oops sorry .. football fans... do they all know just one song? don't they ever get bored of singing the same thing over and over again?

i like the idea of banning- we can start with the loudspeakers on mosque and then we can stop stupid political rallies by idiots who barely finished 6th grade and for sure football fans.. perhaps we can ban chalga music too... oh yeah i also want to ban a lot of people who write absolute crap in forums.
