Several thousand Bulgarian Turks rallied in the village of Mogilyane near Kardzhali Saturday to remember the 25th year since a protest against the assimilation campaign of the former communist regime.
The people gathered at the spot of Tyurkyan Chesma, a drinking fountain named after the 18-month old baby girl Tyurkyan, which was murdered on December 26, 1984, as the policemen fired into the crowd during a peaceful demonstration against the so called “Revival (or Regeneration) Process” – the campaign of the Bulgarian communist regime to assimilate the ethnic Turkish minority by changing their Arab Muslim names with Slavic ones.
The water fountain in the village of Mogilyane was built to honor the memory of the baby girl....
It'a pity that the baby died but what' striking is the fact that at a demonstration where there could be a conflict was an 18 month baby. Now tell me a parent in his right mind how can you take your baby to a protest. This is the scary thing,my friend.
Ah, the poor Turkish minority. God forbid they have to speak Bulgarian in Bulgaria. Changes their names was not such a big deal, the communists were only trying to intergrate them better into society. Forget our Turkish friends, we need a new revival process now, to throw out these cults flowing into our country, like the Mormons.
Look on the bright side. Nellie said she was going to the Caribbean for the holidays. It's been a delightful holiday without her wallpaper, hasn't it? My original comment had nothing at all to do with anyone's religion in particular, it was just a wish for people to have more happiness and joy out of the season.
However, according to my count, four people on this forum have done their best to take the spirit out of it.
For myself, I've had two days of fellowoship with excellent friends, two feasts, gift exchange, enouraging words, and I even heard from a friend I had feared lost.
Couldn't have been better.
"Ah,,shoot! Bill is still kicking around defending his cult! I am sure Nellie will be back soon to deal with him. I thought he was so humiliated last time, he decided to hide. Guess not,,too bad! :))))
Point 1: It isn't a cult. It's an established, recognized AND RESPECTED church.
Point 2: It doesn't need defending. It can take care of itself quite nicely, and nothing you can do will stop it.
Point 3: Neither you nor Nellie can "humiliate" me with your crap.
Point 4: I don't need to hide.
It's hate mongers like you and Nellie who pollute the net, not the Spirit of Christmas.
#1: The mormons are a cult, in every respect, and seen as that. They are only respected among themselves, and those in the real world look at them with disgust (but tolerance)
#2: Christmas is over! Did you not check the calander? What Christmas spirit are you talking about? Russian christmas is coming up soon, if you like to celebrate again.
Nellie is a nice lady, who has torn your cult to bits, and shown it for what it is. WHy you don't make a new years resolution to leave the cult, and start to enjoy life, and not belive in the supersticion and hocas pokus that the cult feeds you constantly. It's never to late! Save yourself from them, and at the same time, save others from joining, by recounting your experiences of this big fraud organization, just as many people do all over the internet.
Happy New Year! May it be Mormon free!
Forgot the other two points:
#3: Everyone on the chat has humiliated you already. By denying reality, as is a typical cult tactic, you can't change realiry
#4: If I was you, I would just give up and HIDE. It crazy not to hide, in the face of logic and truth. Give up, you can't win.
I was in Bermuda this month, and even in a small place like that, I saw those stupid white shirted losers running around with their book of morons. What's happening to the world! No where is safe anymore. :(
Get out your handa-dandy dictionary and look up the difference between insult and humiliate. I've been insulted right and left, but NEVER humiliated by the likes of you and Nellie.
All you two do is spew hate and prejudice. Nothing of value comes from any of it.
I have no reason to hide.
Bill, no one hates you. I have always told you that. YOur a victim of the cult tactics. But we can help you get out, until you realize what a fraud your a part of. I would think humiliate is more approriate word than hate. In humility, you can find your way out of the cult. Take the good advise people are giving you, and get out of that crazkpot organization.
It is not a crackpot organization, and if you knew it better, you might shed some of your prejudice.
So please stop trolling me about it. You're not getting anywhere.
I'm not going to drop out of it just because a few noisemakers on the forum don't agree with it.
Dear Bill,,oh, your spelling is so much better than mine. But your logic is not. EVERYONE is telling you that the mormon cult is an organization that is a big fraud. WHy can you not see that. No one can help you at all, until you realize how that organization abuses you. If you need religion, there are so many reputable religions to join, you don't need a cult. Come on, get with it, take care of yourself.
