Commenting article: Borisov to Moscow Mayor: Sofia Is Besieged Like Stalingrad

Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov has told his Moscow counterpart, Yury Luzhkov, that the Bulgarian government of Prime Minister Stanishev was trying to sabotage his activities.

"Sofia is like Stalingrad during World War II. We are besieged by the government who wants to turn Sofia into a ghetto", Borisov told Luzhkov.

The Sofia Mayor, whose party GERB nominated him on Tuesday as Bulgaria's next Prime Minister, is in the Russian capital for "Sofia's Days in Moscow".

"Sofia has never been cleaner. I count the cleaners in Sofia every day", the Mayor also said."

Fecking liar. I suppose Kniajevo is also Sofia and last Sunday I personally gathered 3 big plastic bags with garbage above Kniajevo in the Vitosha forest - the plastic bags I found thrown on my way with many others as well as plastic bottles, yoghurt pots, beer cans, chips packages etc. And plastic is forever, it gets thousands of years to disintegrate.

And when I reached Kniajevo I gave up because the same sort of garbage covered most of the soil. Of course the city garbage containers there were overflowing.

We are worse than pigs because the pigs at least dont transport stuff in the mountain to throw it there.

Well Creepy, you make me proud. I can relate to your experience with my own, by collecting piles of garbage around my properties in Canada.

Yes that lazy butt Boyko can for sure do a better job. Enough talking Boyko, lead by example, roll up the sleeves and start collecting garbage!
A better job should be done also on enforcing penalties for polluters etc.

Hi Gosho,

I am sure that Creepy never expected to hear how proud you are on his account. At least this is my guess...

As for myself, now I am torn between my admiration for Creepy's high sense of civil duty and your exceptional generosity of heart. Sorry, Creepy ;-)!

Furthermore, I feel almost tempted to come and clean the garbage around all those propertieS of yours in Canada. WOW Gosho! You are not just a great Bulgarian; you are also a wealthy one.

Bravo, Gosho!

P.S. It is all about Gosho!

Stop the sarcasm please, forget about Me/Gosho!
The point here is that Bulgaria needs more people like Creepy and Bulgaria is not the only dirty place. And yes when I pick up the junk I do call people names like pigs etc.

BTW you can come anytime and see with you own eyes the industrial city life (I doubt if you are going to help me with the disgusting junk)
I do have more than one property and I’m far from being wealthy!

Why should I? Does it bother you?

It certainly does not give me a pleasure to read those bothersome, pompous and unrealistic post of yours about Bulgarians and Bulgaria that all sound like self-promotional adds.

I am sorry to have caused you any angst, but you have made me cringe more often than you can imagine...

Keep up the sarcasm, it suits you! I am loving it! Dripping in sarcasm, kind of like dripping in diamonds. lol

I have only one thing to say - when you go to the mountain or elsewhere outside the city DONT THROW YOUR FECKING GARBAGE THERE - BRING IT BACK TO THE CITY.

One can get rich in this country with recyclyng business.
