The report is expected to say that the country has failed to bring a convincing number of underworld bosses and corrupt public administration officials to justice.
The majority of people in Bulgaria do not need the EU to report negative information as they are already well aware of the situation in their own country. Sadly they must wait for the election of a new government this year. Hopefully then the next government elected can start to incarcerate these criminals, whether they be crime bosses or administration officials in high office. If these criminals who are hell bent on destroying Bulgaria,s credibility with the rest of Europe, then the sooner they are taken out of circulation the better. Go for it Batman !!!!
The country has not failed, its the government that has failed the country and also the judiciary, they are the guilty people. Not one person who is high profile whether criminal or an official of the government has been given a custodial sentence that is befitting the crimes they are found guilty of, I know it, all you people on SNA and people on this Forum know it, all the European Union knows it,( and they have the key to the moneybox ), arrogance, saying fukc the EU like some commentators on here do, ministers in true commie fashion trying to make piles of reports and making all the right noises with show trials where guilty people are punished by paying a 2,000 lev fine for stealing funds to the value of 2 million lev and not asked to pay it back because of who they are, trying to bullsh!t Brussels like this will not work. Brussels is not Moscow. We read a Minister from Bulgaria goes to Brussels to try to unblock EU Funds, what was she intending to do plead and beg its no good in Western Europe, they want to see facts and results, results mean people in prison, punished for their crimes, regular monthly audited accounts which can account for every stotinki collected in taxes and grants and for every penny spent, and a paper trail of taxinvoices. Until this happens its called" transparency" the EU will not consider releasing Funds to Bulgaria.
