Ummm, Kurds are clearly grateful for their news channel ;-)

Monarchy and politics don't mix well. Simeon must be a bit dumb if he didn't anticipate the current situation. History will no doubt reflect on him well, he's done more for Bulgaria than most Bulgarians appreciate, but it's unlikely that his popularity will recover much in the remainder of his lifetime.

I expect Robin is the weirdo in the photo, while Bill has bad body odour and farts too much. How would you feel if I legally barred you from any Bulgarian beach for the above said reasons? Just because I find you both f*cking unpleasant hypocritical liberals?

These Liberals are hypocritical and pathetic. For them it's fine to force the smoking minority in most of Europe to stand outside in the cold in winter, ban certain kinds of hunting and generally curtail people's freedoms, but a sin to hold a referendum on a minority issue!? Anyway, I doubt the majority will bother to vote, and the Turkish vote is likely bigger than that of any potential protest vote from Ataka.

FIGMENT, you are thinking about this all wrong! Very strict and barbarous Sharia law for all Muslims living in Europe would be a good idea ;-). And, we should be the ones going to the Islamic world, trying to persuade them that they should adopt the Universal Declaration of Human Rights ;-). After all, the UDHR is simply a divine Judeo-Christian way of thinking, designed to promote harmony, happiness and peace among people! :-). I am sure that Islamic scholars could at least come to respect this way of thinking, even though they are of a different faith, and even defend the right of non-Muslims to think in this way, just as many religious leaders in the West defend and respect beleivers in the Islamic faith ;-).

Most Europeans will try to honour an agreement, even if the circumstances change. If I make a bet, and the winnings are bigger than I expected, I trust and expect to be paid the full amount. It's difficult to honest business, if people keep changing agreements and confiscating profits! If you cheat me out of money, I won't do business with you again, that's capitalism! People who 'cheat' in this way are ultimately the losers, unless they only ever count on making a profit once. Russians and Bulgarians absolutely don't seem to understand this point!

Ummm, were those S&P guys smoking something, partaking of carnal offerings or forced to alter the ratings at gunpoint? ;-)

Perhaps Stanishev can explain why Bulgarian salaries are the lowest relative to GDP per capita of any European nation. Could it be that his old crony friends were skimming off half of Bulgaria's wealth and putting it in their own back pockets? And, he claims to be a socialist? That's worse than incompetance, that's just criminal!

They must all be gay boys, no self-respecting man would be invovled in such a thing!

Ummm, a bit like the pot calling the kettle black ;-)
