arrested??? have they ever arrested any "professional" shooters in last five years?

better arrest nobody, this just causes too much trouble, lets forget all about it and move to the next murder case, i am sure soon someone else will get killed and everyone will forget this murder

"I doubt he was the most competent person in the country as far as the organized crime was concerned," the prosecutor ended."

i guess he was more competent that the interior ministry and the prosecutors office otherwise why would he have got shot if all he said were falsehoods?

..another sunny day in the european union most judicially-challenged nation...

i thought this topic was about car accidents which ofcourse the answer is "duh!"

isn't it bloody obvious to everyone why accidents happen? i don't believe its really because of speeding it also has to do with the fact that most licenses are actually bought rather than earned and most drivers in BG have no clue about road rules. a simple sign such as "crossing" for most drivers it means "speed up before someone dares to use the crossing"

and as someone else said- it has also to do with the fact that most (not ALL) drivers don't respect anything and its every man for himself when you are behind the wheel

i have a small theory that most people don't know what happens when a car traveling only 60kph can do when it comes to a dead stop- if you or the baby don't have a seatbelt which i notice most kids don't , then you have created a perfect ballistic missile, i wish mothers in Bulgaria would see the head of a child that has smashed against the windshield before they happily jump into a car without any care for their children's safety..

and last, yes its a great idea to let kids play on the back of the car when driving 120kph on a highway from Sofia to Varna

Topic: keys

i think there is a difference between anti-parking and parking in a way that allows pedestrians, mothers with small kids and elderly people to walk- right now its hell to walk around cars and not get run over at the same time

i don't think the US model actually compares to Sofia -- from what I remember in SF you can get public transport fairly easily as compare to San Diego where its impossible to go anywhere without a car

i think all major cities such as London, Paris, Rome, NY, SF, Amsterdam is almost impossible to park in the center of town and most of these cities encourage public transport, I don't see why Sofia has to be any different

i remember the days when everyone thought nobody would ever pay to park in Sofia- everyone said no self righteous BG person would pay one stotinka, now they happily pay in cash, vouchers and via sms

i can really see this working, NOT!

for a start there are many people who work for gov institutions that break the laws without any problems- anyone who has some type of official badge breaks the laws and this will not stop just because someone has a camera.. the "kolega" syndrome make all laws a joke

i rather my own system- i just use my keys or a coin and make a nice scratch on the side of a car who blocks the footpath, this makes me even feel better- last night i saw one not so smart driver who decided to park exactly in a corner blocking all pedestrians, by the time i got to it with my keys i saw that many other people had taken sweet justice and somehow i don't see this fool parking in such a stupid manner again..

i was wondering why there was such an increase in numbers of SUV's in Sofia :) now this answers my questions

does this mean local politicians and friend will not be able to keep building

i think you are right on this, the Police can't find their own socks lets alone criminals in Bulgaria

i wonder what the Police actually does in Bulgaria, football crowd control? door openers or door shutters? part-time security guards..?

I have visited Turkey many times and I never have felt any sense that the Turkish people are even slightly interested in attacking Bulgaria. If anything I have always felt they have warm feelings towards Bulgaria.

Any thoughts of Turkey attacking Bulgaria are absolutely ridiculous. I got no idea why anyone in 2007 would even think this.

I think modern Turkey has nothing to do with its past Ottoman empire and anyone who even remotely thinking this has lost a few screws.

on a different line...

ok so the english family f*** up by not getting someone to look after their home-lets skip this

now... the Municipality cannot kick these people out because of law x-y-z...

this all leads me to the following--- shouldn't the people living in the house be responsible for land taxes? and all other taxes?? if this is the case the Municipality can present a simple bill "pay or leave".. i am so sure there must be some laws that can be applied, I cannot believe it anyone can just move into an empty house and not be kicked out...

anyway if I was the owner I would serve the family with a nice rental bill and ofcourse it would not be paid and then ofcourse I would sue them for not paying the bill and then ofcourse I would ask for restitution in the form of... stuff all this.. its too complicated... i wouldn't buy a house in a village anyway, stupid idea!

why? Because they are doing such a great job for Bulgaria hahahahahah Haven't you noticed the difference? The streets are cleaners, the government has less corruption, services are more efficient, better salaries for teachers, doctors, architects, organised trafficked has disappeared... oh wait what dreams is this?!??

the answer to "why"?"... its because they can get away with it- don't forget they get free trips all expenses paid for them and their families, free gsm's, special "stickers" they can put in their cars that give them total immunity from almost anything

answer- until a government is created somewhere in this planet where the representatives are liable for their actions these types of frauds and abuses will keep happening. this situation is not unique to Bulgaria and thats why politicians always use the same excuse "we are not doing anything different that is not done elsewhere"
