It was a bad idea 30 years ago to build a nuclear plant in a earthquake risk region, now it's even a worse idea, as there are no market for this energy. Bulgaria has a installed capacity of 16 000 Megawatts, this spring it consumed only some 2.000 Megawatts. And as the economy is on the bottom already, who should consume this energy? The situation in the neighbourstates is the same and Turkey is technically not able to buy from Bulgaria...

Let it be, kommies! Moscow marionettes...

Sofianits, I do understand your point and the frustration of the people, but then it's completly utopia. Bulgarian people tend to expect a messias which will clean up the whole mess which has piled up the last 20 years.
The last time they voted for a messias, was Boyko.

Democracy is also participation, either you go to the election or you try to engage yourself politically. But staying home and hope that things will change by itself won't work...

Not voting will actually help the status quo.

People want more democracy, went out to the streets in order to protest and show their dissatisfaction with the ruling class. But when it's election time they don't show up. So what do you want, bulgarian people?! That things will become better just like that? Do you want socialism where the state will decide everything for you and give you job and home?! I do understand that the choice is difficult whom to vote for, but then at least show up and give an invalide vote.
If you don't show up at election you don't have the right to protest afterwards that the result doesn't please you. Come on, narod!

For what then Plamen Goranov gave his life then?!

Topic: New people

Just to remember, in the last Borrisov government, there were about 100 new delegates from GERB in the new elected parliament. But people calling them without experience and without clear concept.

The problem is that if you want to make a political career in Bulgaria you have to make some murky deals and get in touch with people you shouldn't or you are born into a old commie family.

The other way is that you have made a career abroad like Djankov made or Kristalina Georgieva and last but not least Zar Sakscoburgotski. But then people say they don't know about the situation in the country.

And about the protests: We have seen protests in Bulgaria at the beginning of the year, with mass protests in the whole country and people burning themselves.

Now it seems that only in Sofia there are protests and other countries are bigger (and more "important") like Brasil and Turkey.

Another point is that the protests seems to have no clear vision what should happened after the government resigned. The electoral code will be the same and the outcomes of these election will be more or less the same, maybe with some even more votes for Boyko...

"Socialist leader Sergey Stanishev had hinted before at this development, saying that this post is the only thing Siderov wanted for his party. "

So 'I want' is the only qualification for this position?!

Let's see which apologize we will hear today from Oresharski.

I can imagine that it's not easy to find people in Bulgaria with a clean record, but there must be someone else than members from the Mafia...

If this government is more busy to put nashe hora into the right position than to curb with the crisis in Bulgaria then they won`t make until autumn.

Then we will have another election where Boiko will make his comeback...

"...the leader of BSP and President of the Party of European Socialists (PES) reasoned, adding that if Peevski's nomination had been announced in advance, the reaction against him would have been even stronger..."

So he is admitting that he expected protests and a public outcry and nevertheless insisted in nominating Peevski for DANS?!
He is just unbearable.

Besides Stanishev himself already dismissed Peevski in a former government because of "lack of morale" but now suddenly he became an angel...
Come on....

Poor Bulgaria! You deserve better...

How they can be so creative to build "schemes" in order to steal from the state instead of building real businesses and have a decent life.
They proof to know the laws and what it needs to make business.

Just wondering...
