Hey dp,

Unfortunately the German King Ferdinand did not care about any Bulgarian, he did not listen to Bulgarian advisors, nor to people like me, but rather to his German and Austrian Cousins and relativs, This is why Bulgaria was staunches German ally in World War I and World War II. Youd better read the Findings of the Carnegie foundation after the Balkan wars and then make your wise comments. However you latest comment qualifies you withouth any doubt for a post inthe recent or any future Government of the Republic of Bulgaria! Good luck!

Very "wise" comments of the Bulgarian foreign Minister. It would be better without him and his " brilliant " comments...

Bulgaria is plagued not only bГЅ grave robbers. For more then 15 years the country is permanently robbed by thos in power, those who facilitate the so called changes, and probably every Bulgarian has been robbed at home, however nobody, no BUlgarian authority since 1992, or somebody in WE, Overseas, the big old and new Conquer Turkey has helped to get hold of the robbers. It is said to read such storys, but how many things have disapeared from Bulgarian Museum over the last 16 years, and not one Bulgarian Government or chiefprosecuter has managed to publish a list of the stolen stuff( not to speak on every single Factory sold for pennies after 1989 abroad!!!). Where have all teh flowers gone! Shame !

DP I only am saiyng that no King of Bulgaria, of German descend has done anything whatsoever to bring the millions of Bulgarian refugees back to their homes and lands. People like you must know and should learn, that in almost every town or village within the border of Bulgaria today, you will find people whose relatives have been forced 120, 100, 95, 90 or even 80 years ago to leave their homes, to leave everything behind, and to start a new life without nothing, as a bulgarian refugee from countries where the families of those people lived over centuries. So the ethnic cleansing started by the ottoman turks, continued for decades. Most of those people The reason I am writing this is to alarm not only people like you that poverty today in quite a few parts of Bulgaria has reached enormous dimensions, in some cases worse, then at the time when a our fellow bulgarians where forced to leave their homes more then a century ago! It is ridicilous that Bulgarian MP vote for higher salaries when quite a few bulgarians are getting 60 to 100 leva pension!!!
Shame on that parliament!

Who ever i s writing those aphorisms should take into account that only 97 years ago certain parts of Bulgaria where under Ottoman Yoke, and until 1918 and also in th 1920 of last century and later a lot of refugees entered the terrirory of the Bulgarian Kingdom with the hope that they will return one day to their lost homes, lands and beloved homeland, whichthey left in already neighbouring countries. No government of the German Kings, who becam Bulgarians, has ever made a step to bring the millions of bulgarian refugees back to their homes be it in todays Greece, Todays Serbia and Macedonia,Todays Turkey, even Rumania. At the end of 1944 Bulgaria had more 1,6 Million small agricultural farms some of them very poor. But such an poverty as spread spread all over Bulgaria today, with empty villages, overaged, duying out population in others, has never been in contemporary Bulgarian history. The Majority of Bulgarians live in poverty and iare engaged in an unbelievable fight to survive. Bulgarian Mass Media, Writers Intelectuals should look for the real survivors in the day to day reality of Bulgaria, 16 years after the so called changes started! It is a shame that MP are looking for higher wages for doing nothing to overcome the deep economical, cultural and social crisis in BUlgarian society. Enough is enough and time has come to say it alloud!

Stop the Building of the nuclear plant! Its high time to safe Bulgaria from incompetent leaders. Get rid of nuclear power introducing ecological means of producing energy!!! Nuclear fuel as diesel will also one day be exausted!!!!
Get rid of nuclear power protagonists and pave the way for a free and independent bulgarian enterpreunership without the helping hand of the Pernik gang which fully replaced the Pravetz gang. Bulgarians should say enough is enough!Stop the Kozludui nuclear insanity! Check how many people are sick in the region close by, Sio you want to kill all bulgarians to empty space for turks and their Assotoates? Built the nuclear plant close to Istanbul... together with your great turkish supporters and give the many back to bulgarian taxpayers for other projects!

Its Not dozens of people, Million Bulgarians ahve been victims of that mafia covered up by the System Introduced by the Former Presidents Zhelyu Zhelev, Petar Stoyanov an continued by the recent one. All governments in that time are sesponsible and one daay will account for their actions or better to say on taking no action at all to secure the interest of the people of Bulgaria!

It is said, that in the last decades no majority has developed in Bulgaria which will stop the insane attempt to expand the use of nuclear power in a Region of Bulgaria known for terrible Eartquakes, but also a region which has lost quite over the years a huge part of its population. Recently German scientist discovered that in a certain diameter around every single nuclear plant the percentage of cancerous ilnesses among children has grown tremendously. Calls to stop all nuke facilities are spreading and most probably all of the nuke facilities will be stopped. But in Bulgaria the euphoria from, the nukes continues Why such staunches stupidity, Because so called leaders are muppets and do not care about their own people. Hopefully a strong movement against the nuke Facility in Belen will develop to protect the healthy future for Bulgarian children in Kozlodui and its suroundings. A call for an international inquiry on the state of affair with the health of the populattion in surounding Kozludui villages should be supported and the government must be hold accountable if cancerillnesses are growing in the Region. Second wide spread support for alternative energy facilities, like Biogas installation, waste treatmen instalations Wind, Sollar, Thermal energy power stations and windparks in and at the Black sea coast and the Danube River should be the alternative to the latest Monument of stupidity to be started in 2009! Protect Bulgaria from the clean nuclear dead!
