Photos by Yuliana Nikolova Text by Nadya Dimitrova Bulgarian theater stars all gathered together in one wonderful play - this is the Ikar wards ceremony! The stars celebrated the International Day of Theatre on March 27 and to applaud the mastership of legendary Naum Shopov, described as one of Bulgaria's most mysterious and sensual actors. Shopov was recognised with the special award "Ikar 2006" for overall contribution to Bulgarian Theatre. The National Theater Ivan Vazov was awarded for its play "Othello." Alexandra Vassileva and Kamen Donev were awarded for leading male and female role respectively. Ikar awards were also handed for supporting roles, director's debut, actor's debut, puppets' mastership, music and others.
