Photo Story: Liberation From Big Bubble

After three months of love, hate, breakups, get-togethers, friendships, back-stabbing, kisses, tears, confessions, wall-painting, fishing, and milking sheep, it's finally over. And thank God! For three months the Bulgarian makers of Big Brother had shouted in our faces that we are witnessing the most exciting, tremendously interesting and sensational TV show. Convincing us that sending short messages is vital in our lives. Drumming a troubled marriage and a young Casanova's serial monogamy as if that would change the fate of humanity. That was a "reality" show so far from reality, no wonder that its end was a big thing. Life is the greatest spectacle - that was the very reason for the genesis of the reality show format. But in an aim to surpass the success of the first season, producers were pushing too hard to turn simple personal relationships into a TV drama blockbuster. A labyrinth of complicated missions and maneuvers messed with the viewer's mind every day, new participants kept coming in, the rules kept changing, and for one single reason - more, and more, and more drama... In the end, "reality" turned out a big bubble that burst and left many people overdosed and bored. If the end of the second season was a relief to you, too, then you will probably enjoy some nice pics from the gala final! Text by Petya Bondokova Photos by Kameliya Atanasova
