What should 21st century Bulgaria make of its common historical heritage with Russia, as underscored by Russian Patriarch Kirill in Sofia? Revive it and boost it as because it can draw political and economic benefits from closeness with Russia.    65 votes.   Ignore it keeping it in history books only as Bulgaria’s closeness to Russia has always hampered it from being a real part of the West.    51 votes.   Cherish it but only as a cultural phenomenon dissociating it completely from contemporary politics.    102 votes.
