Why do you think Bulgaria's Borisov Cabinet gave up on building the Belene Nuclear Power Plant? For the reason it said - the Belene NPP project is indeed economically unfeasible.    42 votes.   In order to avoid an even greater political dependence on Russia.    46 votes.   Because it eventually succumbed to heavy US pressure, thus also paving the way for shale gas extraction.    65 votes.
