How do you see Bulgaria’s participation in the European Stability Mechanism and the Pact for Euro (Euro-Plus-Pact)? Bulgaria should stay out of these mechanisms because it was unfairly kept out of the negotiations for their rules, which serve the interests of the “old” EU member states, and because it is going to pay, undeservedly, an unproportionally high cost for its    67 votes.   Bulgaria should join them and seek to be as close to the EU “core” as possible because otherwise it will be falling behind, and will be unable to have a say and potentially defend its interests.    60 votes.   Bulgaria should be a part of them but only if it can secure “opt-outs” and exemptions that account for its specific position as the poorest EU member state with a small public debt and small budget deficit.    66 votes.
