How will the UN-backed international military campaign for a no-fly zone affect the situation in Libya? The regime of Muammar Gaddafi will collapse within a couple of weeks or less.    47 votes.   The stage has been set for a protracted civil war betwee the Gaddafi regime and the rebels since the rebels are weak militarily, foreign powers will not commit land forces against Gaddafi, and it is problematic who is in command of the strikes.    62 votes.   Gaddafi's regime stands a fair chance of survival if it proves to be resilient enough, tones down military actions, and finds a formula for negotiations with the rebels and the international community.    20 votes.
