Why are key EU countries (France, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Austria) opposed to Bulgaria's accession to the Schengen Area in March 2011? Mostly because of general concerns about Bulgaria's post-EU accession progress on rule of law, judicial reform, organized crime.    90 votes.   Mostly because Bulgaria has failed the technical tests for securing its external EU borders.    14 votes.   Mostly because of various political reasons - such as the issue with the expulsion of Bulgarian and Romanian Roma from France in 2010.    26 votes.
