Commenting article: EU Fond of Underrating Bulgaria, Romania

I have a question. Why it is that the Netherlands is the only country saying that Bulgaria and Romania should not join the free visa zone?

The Dutch are concentrating on corruption and other issues against these two countries, while dealing in hard drugs is the most common business in their capital city. How come they have not been able to curb this trend of business for years if they are not corrupt and also lack security?

Tunde, we are but voices in the wilderness.
Nowadays, it seems that laws, arrangements, agreements, rules and regulations mean nothing any more.
The requirements for joining Schengen have been in place for a long time and have varied little since its inception.
It is obvious that right wing, anti-immigration, nationalistic oriented persons are now intimating that Bulgarians and Romanians aren’t quite up to their standard of being European (some idiot the other day even said that they aren’t Europeans) and are trying to prevent their integration into Schengen. The ludicrous thing is that, if they were to join, the external borders of the new Schengen area would be no less protected than that of the EU currently.
The only places where there would be explicit change is between Greece and Bulgaria, Bulgaria and Romania and Hungary and Romania so we should be worrying as much, if not more, about Greece’s capabilities to stem the hordes than either Bulgaria or Romania.
If they are worried about criminal elements from Romania and Bulgaria spreading through the EU they can do that now as, without Schengen, there is, in theory, no sharing of that type of data.

Bulgaria and Romania are the only Orthodox Christian countries in the EU. Romania is not really underrated but hostility towards Bulgaria is obvious. The country was and still is economically isolated, while it's resources exploited by a small bunch of British and Italian companies. Bulgarian intelligentia is forced to work out of the country until Bulgaria turns into a bunch of villages populated by senile pensioners and gyppers. Then it would be a matter of few papers signed for the country to finally be annexed by Turkey. This is something Germany, UK and Austria have set to do since the Berlin treaty and as their influence in the Balkans get stronger their plans become real. A Turkish dominated Balkans without any chance of Russian influence now and in the future.

In the same time Central European and Baltic Countries are being fed enormous amount of FDI, loans and credit lines

There are more than 1100 BG criminals wanted by Schengen police forces. We all know that they have high protection in BG.

So, let them show their passports when they arrive on FRA, VIE or BRU, so they can be arrested.

Once these people have had a fair trial and the proper sentences, we shall welcome BG in Schengen.

That simple.

btw, Holand/Finland play the bad guys, but most of the Schengen countries are behind them. Diplomatic tact...

Some forum contributors are so smart, they don't know they are stupid. One that comes to mind is Temujin. He is not a frequent writer, but without exception, all his postings are of negative nature and are always insulting to people and nations. Maybe if someone coated his fingers with honey and gave him a feather he would spend less time writing.
His latest comments on international matters demonstrate a great deal of maturity, at least as much as any average fourth grader.
By the way Temujin is also a racist. He likes to call other people gypsies as if he is better than them. In fact, the real gypsy is Temujin himself.
He has been so long away from Ulan Baatar, so he now thinks he is European. He he.
I strongly recommend to him to take a hint from Naso and declare that he loves Mongolia.
