Commenting article: Bulgaria Cuts Monthly Payment of BGN 65 to Refugees

Bulgaria is cutting the monthly payment of BGN 65 to refugees.

According to reports of private TV station bTV, the measure is explained with the fact that refugees are already provided with three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) instead of two (lunch and dinner), as was the case earlier.

Bulgaria is obliged to provide food and shelter to people seeking protection in the country, according to the report.

"I agree, but still BG can gain a lot from that immigration and at the same time put a mirror infront of the world's hypocrite face"

Yes, gain a lot of problems just like the UK. Migrants bite the hands that feed them.

I agree, but still BG can gain a lot from that immigration and at the same time put a mirror infront of the world's hypocrite face.

Giving them 3 meals?? what about integration? language schools, psychological treatment? eventually they will stay in BG and they can improve the situation here, they will create new businesses and their kids will be Bulgarians. What happened to the country who was the only one who saved all jew's lives in the WW2? Germany and Sweden can not do it better then the Bulgarians. all is needed is a good plan and good will. who ever is up for the fast money, will anyhow try to leave, but if there are people who wants to integrate, to find a job, to learn the language and the culture-they should be provided with suitable help!

Bukgaria in Europe

Just give us money

Only people with money or pensions would bother to think about living in bulgaria

You would have to be desperate to consider living ib bg These people are desperate and should be helped and treated with respect just like we would like to be treated if we were in there situation

Some people on this site think they own the world and maybe sould look at how lucky there life has been

Dont forget we are all going the same way one day

Illegal immigrants coming for better living to the crappiest country in the EU from which 3 million of its own citizens have fled to become gastarbeiters elsewhere in Europe??? What a paradigm.

GrueFski - 30 Mar 2015 // 19:49:15

1. Many of them are not even Syrians, they are from Afghanistan or Africa, therefore not entitled to be called "refugees". They are illegal immigrants.
2. They are Gyspies
3. They are Muslim
4. Finish that fence building once and for all. Greece has managed to build one years ago

The Bulgarians are just doing the dirty work for the EU by making it miserable and nearly impossible for these Kurds to reach the core EU countries who's politicians pretend that human rights matter for everyone and everywhere.

Most of them came from Turkey, so let them go back there. Bulgaria is not in no position to handle refugee crisis from country much bigger than them. We are not responsible for all problems in the world. Let us fix our severe internal problems first. If these illegal migrants not happy, go back to Turkey. Gate is open other direction as well.

These people should be given all that they need to survive without suffering. The situation should be well managed and care taken to ensure that the support goes to the right people. Control, and help those who need it most.

I'd have thought that Sweden has had enough of the Syrian/Kurdish mafia - but maybe Germany needs some more illiterates....

deutscherin - 30 Mar 2015 // 14:25:43

Sorry, they are Syrian and Iraqi Kurds and Germany , Demark, Sweden is their final destination.

Since these spongers are probably hoping to end up living in the UK's Benefits Street, shouldn't they start their acclimatisation early and serve them "dinner" at lunch-time and "tea" at dinner-time? ;) That way they will feel at home among the illiterate British welfare-fiddlers....

From the EUR 1,000 per person that Bulgaria receives from the EU as aid to improve the quality of life for the refugees, it now appears that even BGN 65 / EUR 33 was too much money to reach the intended objective.

I can just imagine the quality of the free meals they are provided with....
