Commenting article: Top 5 Bulgarian Black Sea Vacation Spots

Summer is fast approaching. Still undecided about your vacation plans? You love the seaside? Here's a few recommended spots at the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.

Sunny Beach

Slunchev Bryag, better known outside Bulgaria as Sunny Beach, is the undisputed party center of the Black Sea coast. Each year the resort attracts thousands of tourists from around Europe, mainly young people. Its notorious reputation has done little to push visitors away – on the contrary, their number keeps rising. After all, cheap booze, casinos, world-famous DJs, and fancy beach clubs will always have strong leverage in the summer tourism sector.

I would recommend all of the above towns, although i personally live in Pomorie, i visit occasionally to Sunny Beach but only daytime, i know thats its a very rowdy place and more control should be placed upon it, to protect families with young children from the rowdies and lager louts who frequent the place. The recent tv program did not do it any justice with the antics of the drunks and the tourists who clearly cannot handle their drink, and are there only for that. More emphasis should be placed on attracting the right sort of people, thats how Ibiza started and soon became what it is today with advertised bar crawls and the like, maybe good for the bar owners, but not good for the image Bulgaria should strive to achieve.
