The Olympic committees of several European nations and the US have received messages threatening armed attacks at the upcoming Sochi Olympics, according to media reports.
Committees in Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy and the United States were among those that received the messages which contained what they called "terrorist threats."
Although the messages received by the national Olympics offices continued to sharpen concern about security at the Winter Olympics in February, the International Olympic Committee said the anonymous warnings lacked credibility....
