Commenting article: Bulgarian Company Competes with Explorer, Firefox with New Web Browser

Why is this posted like serious news, when it's clearly a joke. With the core of IE, and with better(?!?) look? And will be available soon on Linux and mobile devices? No way this can happen. Let's not talk about how "faster" than Internet Explorer is ... and how more "secure" and "better looking".

in one word - crap.

"Web Visions Black Label is "minimalistic" software for surfing the Internet. Its functions are really limited - it has only two menus - "File" and "Help"."

Technically that is what firefox w/o the add-ons and extensions is suppose to be.

"the main advantage of Web Visions is the fact that the browser works twice faster and puts three times smaller work load on computer processes than its competitors Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox do."

It is the add-ons and extensions which slow down firefox.

It seems to me that they are trying to reinvent the wheel. The beauty of Firefox is that with the add-ons and extensions you can personalize your web browser to fit your needs.

I am curious as to whether this is merely using the explorer control available with Visual Basic.

"Web Visions is based on Internet Explorer, and was developed on Microsoft Visual Basic Express. It took Creative Lines Group six months to develop the new browser. "

How can it be twice as fast if it's just a dumbed down version of Explorer?

SNA, is this another of your PR clients?
I wish them luck with their "product". They'll need it!

If it made in Bulgaria or even invented in Bulgaria, I for one will stay well clear of it...

Twice as fast? Really? Maybe SNA should hire these guys as consultants to determine why this site has been so slow running lately. Is it a software problem, a virus problem or something else the problem? It happened around January 1 2009 and it is still a problem. Anyone at SNA has any idea what is going on? Anyone going to tell us what is going on? We accept your apology in advance. lol
