Euro Area Inflation Down to 3.2%

Euro area annual inflation is expected to be 3,2% in October 2008 according to a preliminary estimate issued by Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities.

The inflation was 3,6% in September.

Experts did predict the decrease in October and expect that inflation would go down even further in the upcoming months due to fuels' price decrease and the slowdown of the global economy.
