THE CONFEDERATION of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria /CITUB/ will require from the new parliamentary majority an amendment to be made, ruling that the receivables due to employees in cases of insolvency and bankruptcy, are a priority. The total amount of unpaid back salaries in the country stands at some BGN 150 M, not including the due social insurance installments, which add up another huge amount.

THE BRITISH ambassador Richard Stagg awarded bankers` certificates issued by the Chartered Institute of Bankers on 263 Bulgarian specialists at a special ceremony held in the Military Club yesterday.
