Bulgaria: Household Incomes Grow Faster Than Spending in Late 2025
Average household income per person in Bulgaria grew more strongly than spending during the last quarter of 2025, according to data from the National Statistical Institute.

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev opened Tuesday a National Supercomputer Center located in the building of the State Agency for Information Technology and Telecommunications.
During the opening ceremony Stanishev explained the new research center would aide Bulgarian scientists and firms with their research projects.
The center will be used by scientists and researchers from the Sofia University "St. Kliment of Ohrid", the Sofia Technical University, the Medical Academy, and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
Some of the research projects to be carried out there will have to do with the testing of new drugs, testing the seismic stability of buildings, and the examining the risks of flooding.
According to the Bulgarian PM, the National Supercomputer Center was the only one of its type in Southeast Europe.
