The world famous French DJ Dimitri from Paris is to hold a unique Playboy Mansion party in Sofia's Yalta Club on Saturday.
The music star, who is a resident of Hugh Hefner's mansion, is to present before the Bulgarian fans his new compilation, called "Dimitri from Paris Returns to The Playboy Mansion".
The album was launched on the markets worldwide on April 7 through Defected label.
Dimitri from Paris is a French producer and DJ of Greek origins. Contrary to his musical pseudonym, he was born not in Paris but in Istanbul, Turkey.
He started out by DJ'ing at a French radio station before moving on one of the top radio groups in the country in 1986.
There, he introduced the first ever house music show to be broadcast in France, while simultaneously producing runway soundtracks for fashion houses such as Chanel, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Yves Saint-Laurent.
In 1996 Dimitri released his first full album, Sacrebleu. Subtly blending a variety of styles ranging from jazz to samba to house, it sold 300,000 copies worldwide.
In addition, throughout his career Dimitri has mixed hundreds of records from artists as diverse as the Brand New Heavies, Etienne Daho, New Order and Björk.
