MINISTERS TO LOBBY FOR NATO BID AT MEETING WITH MEMBERS IN BRUSSELS

Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Passy, Defense Minister Svinarov and other officials leave for Brussels on Sunday, April 21 to attend a meeting of the North Atlantic Council in a 19 + 1 format (the member states and Bulgaria). The meeting will discuss a NATO report on Bulgaria's progress towards membership.During the visit, Minister Passy is scheduled to confer with NATO Secretary General George Robertson and European Enlargement Commissioner Guenter Verheugen.
