The mounting of advertising and commercial facilities will not be allowed near road junctions and crossroads, reads an ordinance on
the special use of roads, which was passed by the cabinet yesterday. The document does not concern the populated areas, nor the existing
facilities. Permits for mounting advertising facilities on highways and first-class roads are issued by the Roads Agency. Such facilities
should be placed at a distance at least 1,500 m off a road junction or crossroad and 600 m before a tunnel. No advertisements are allowed to be placed on overpasses, bridges and tunnels.
