11 Dead in Macedonia Military Helicopter Crash

A Macedonian military helicopter, taking soldiers home from Bosnia crashed south-east of the Macedonian capital Skopje on Saturday, killing all 11 people on board.

The cause of the crash is still unclear.

Skopje airport was closed for two hours after the incident.

The transport helicopter was returning soldiers from a tour of duty in the EU-led peacekeeping mission in Bosnia.

Two helicopter crew members are also among the victims in the crash.

An investigation on the incident is under way.
