We don`t witness any correctness to the executive power on the part of the new rule, declared premier Ivan Kostov after the meeting with President Stoyanov yesterday. The conversation, held on the request of Kostov, touched upon the crisis in Macedonia. `In practical terms the activity of the cabinet has been blocked. Whatever we may do, tomorrow someone may say it hasn`t been right. It would be good if the future rulers had shown some interest in the national security issues, the way they did concerning privatization`, Kostov stressed. In his view, there should be a candidate-premier to gradually start assuming his responsibilities and to have decisions coordinated with him. We can`t assume any responsibility for decisions whose consequences go beyond the framework of our rule, the premier added. This is Kostov`s personal opinion, Simeon II commented later in the day yesterday. Obviously the premier isn`t aware of our stand on Macedonia, added the chief of the foreign political team of NMS II Solomon Passy. He specified that the movement would come out with a stand only if need be.
