Six teens were shot in a working class neighbourhood of Las Vegas late on Tuesday, with two of them in critical condition, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
The cause of the shooting appears to be a fight over a girl several hours earlier, which led to the arrest of three people, sheriff Doug Gillespie was quoted as saying.
The police are still looking for the two gunmen, who fled on foot from the scene of the shooting.
Four teens from the Mojave High School were treated for injuries and released, but two other are in critical condition with gunshots to the torso.
Authorities would not release any other information about the two victims, the paper said.
