The British actors in Abi Morgan’s “Tiny Dynamite” hardly expected the success they had at the world premiere of their play in Sofia, a collaboration of two companies - Paines Plough’s incisive new writing and Frantic Assembly’s bruising physicality. A fragile love story about people whose life changes fundamentally after meeting each other, "Tiny Dynamite" tells about a holiday, that gives two old friends (Scott Graham, Steven Hoggett) the space to rebuild their friendship and broken lives. History seems to repeat itself when a young woman (Eileen Walsh) wanders into their lives, which could also be a second chance at love. Directed by Paines Plough's brilliant Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone, “Tiny Dynamite” was awarded last year at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and certainly won the applause of the Bulgarian audience during the performances at the National Palace of Culture. In an exclusive interview for novinite.com Vicky Featherstone admitted that she knows very little about Bulgarian playwriting and promised to demand for more communication and more "cross-fertilization". “People here are very questioning. This is refreshing and crosses language barriers. I am really impressed by people’s attitude, “ she said.
