The wife of the world famous wrestler Hulk Hogan has filed for divorce, TMZ.com reported, citing a document from the Pinellas County Court website.

According to the paper, Linda Marie Bollea has officially declared her wish to split up with her husband on November 20.

The reasons for the divorce are not mentioned in the document.

The news came few days after authorities suspended the couple's son of his driving licence for six months because of a street racing crash that left a passenger friend critically injured.

Nick Bollea, 17, was arrested in the beginning of November. He has allegedly had a blood alcohol level of 0.055 percent as a minor at the time of the accident.
