Macedonian officials could press criminal charges against Georgi Georgievski for causing the death of local pop star Tose Proeski, after receiving the conclusions of the official investigation carried out by Croatian authorities.
Proeski was killed when his car hit the back of a truck and crashed into the protective fence on the motorway between Zagreb and Belgrade on October 16.
Croatian authorities have found that Proeski's jeep crashed at 171km/h.
Georgievski, who was Proeski's driver, has survived the crash and is a suspect in the case, accused of reckless driving.
Proeski started his pop career at 15, releasing his debut album at 18. He sang in Macedonian and Serbian and represented Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004.
