The trial of the former Yugoslav president, Slobodan Milosevic, has resumed at the international war crimes tribunal in the Hague after a three-week pause. The hearings were first postponed after Mr Milosevic had been diagnosed with influenza, and further delays were caused by the Easter holidays. The Monday hearing is closed to the public to protect the identity of two witnesses called by prosecutors to testify. Mr Milosevic is on trial for war crimes in Kosovo, Croatia and Bosnia during the break-up of Yugoslavia. He has been accused of genocide in Bosnia between 1992 and 1995.
