With the death toll mounting in the West Bank and Gaza, US President Bush on Saturday again called on Israel to withdraw its troops from Palestinian areas "without delay" and demanded the Palestinians immediately crack down on terrorists.
Bush made the statements during a joint news conference with British Prime Minister Tony Blair near Bush's Crawford, Texas, ranch.Bush and Blair each said at the news conference Saddam Hussein must prove to the world that he is not developing weapons of mass destruction. "We both recognize the danger of a man -- who is willing to kill his own people -- harboring and developing weapons of mass destruction," Bush said. "Saddam Hussein told the world he would show us that he would not develop weapons of mass destruction, and yet, over the last decade, he has refused to do so."
