The Bulgarian contingent in Afghanistan has been assigned a new task, to ensure the supply of water to a refugee camp near Kabul, the Defence Ministry announced. The inspection of the performance of the Bulgarian unit, part of the British contingent, established that the soldiers have shown professionalism in the implementation of the tasks they have been set. The three-member inspection group returned from Afghanistan April 2. According to the commander of the German contingent Brigadier General Karl Hubertus von Butler the Bulgarian good performance means that the term of their mission will be extended.
