Guitarist Gary Moore will play a gig in Sofia's National Palace of Culture on Saturday, four months after his planned concert was cancelled when the rock star came down with a lung infection.

Moore is on a world tour, promoting his critically-acclaimed "Close as You Get" album, but is scheduled to include some of his classic hits, such as "Still Got The Blues", "Pretty Woman" and "Since I Met You", among others.

He was scheduled to play a free concert in Sofia's downtown Battenberg Square as part of Bulgaria's celebrations of Europe's Day.

Tickets for his concert on Saturday are on sale for between BGN 20 and BGN 50.

The legendary Irish musician began his career in the mid-60s. Since then he has played with numerous bands and artists including Thin Lizzy, Colosseum II, Greg Lake and Skid Row, which was his first band. The star has a successful solo career as well.

Gary Moore now appears as a regular radio host of the show "Blues Power", where he plays many classic blues tracks, as well as some of his own singles.
