Bulgaria's lev closed firmer against the euro March 27 as some banks sold euro to boost lev liquidity ahead of a deadline for monthly minimum reserve payments, dealers said. The lev ended at 1.9498/1.9502 per euro versus 1.9506/1.9510 at Tuesday's close. Against the dollar, the lev closed at 2.229/2.230, weaker than Tuesday's 2.218/2.219, shadowing euro's losses against the dollar abroad through the lev/euro peg.
